Spring has Sprung at Special Ed Safari!

Updated: Sep 2, 2023

I don’t know about you, but the home stretch of this school year feels extra exciting!  I can safely say that I have never had a school year quite like this one.  So much has been different, but one of the things that has stayed the same is that engaging students is so, so important. With the variety of learning modalities out there these days (face to face, virtual, and everything in between) and the ongoing need to differentiate materials, it can feel overwhelming, especially as the year is drawing to a close.

Not to worry, though- Special Ed Safari is here to help!  Particularly when it comes to learners receiving special education service and needing modified materials, Special Ed Safari has options for a variety of subjects and modalities.  These products align with Virginia’s ASOLs but target essential skills that work with any set of standards. Check out some great offerings:

This Spring Print AND Digital Writing Prompts and Journal provides high interest, diverse topics for students to write about in either print or digital format. Other options are available (and linked to in the description) for the other three seasons, as well as a money-saving bundle!

Composing and decomposing numbers is an important math skill in understanding place value, and Composing and Decomposing Numbers Task Cards- Spring Edition is here to provide ample opportunities to practice.  Task cards are provided for printing in two different formats- one problem on a page and a more traditional four card set up. Digital versions of these tasks are in the works as well so stay tuned!

Writing word problems takes time, but not with these Spring-Themed Single Step Addition and Subtraction Word Problems!  These problems are included in my Word Problem Mega Bundle as well, so the party can keep on going!  Multiple presentation modes are included here to make differentiation a breeze.
